The Rough Patch Programme
You’ve hit a rough patch when work and life are colliding in a way that’s messing with how you usually operate.
One month. 4 Sessions. Guided talking. Making things better…together.
Some common rough patch triggers
Few of us escape tough times. Even when we have well-meaning loved ones willing to help, most of us deal with tough times alone in our head.
But alone can feel…um…lonely. Alone can be slow, tiring. And alone can suck your energy dry. And we need that precious energy if we want to make things better.
Each of us is so different, our rough patches are triggered by different things. Here are some of the most common triggers I see:
A shitty boss, team troubles or that job you missed out on.
A messier-than-usual mind, a loss of confidence or a new recognition that the same old tired thought processes are no longer serving you.
Home-life changes that are seeping into your day-to-day work life in ways that aren’t helpful.
News that takes you by surprise or noticing that your reaction to the news is throwing you off-course.
Struggling with bad news, big birthday blues or just had it with life’s tremors getting you down.
What you know for sure is that something has to change!

Hey there, I’m Lucia. This is how the Rough Patch Programme came about.
Since 2017, I’ve trained people to design the rest of their work life to suit their needs, hopes and dreams. This is deep and transformational work and takes a minimum of three months.
Two years ago, I noticed that many of my clients were being thrown into rough patches that hindered our bigger work-life design together.
These included everything from new bosses, divorce, cancer diagnoses, death of close family members, discovery of how differently their brain works, difficulty with elderly parents and even changes in government!
Even those who believed they were great at compartmentalisation found that their beyond-work tremors had bled into their work life. And could no longer be ignored.
So for the last two years, I’ve been conducting rough-patch consulting sessions for free. With clients. And partners of clients. Gaining evidence that this sessions were as helpful as I hoped they could be. Before I offered them to you.
“Clear communication and rigorous analysis distinguished the team from prior vendors we engaged.”

Of course, we’re all different.
Usually by session 2 or 3 things start to shift - but it’s not uncommon to begin to feel that shift the day after our first session.

Career design is focused on deliberately designing the next 5-10 years of your career to be deeply enjoyable, fulfilling and meaningful. There are masterclasses, training sessions, sprints, specific design exercises, private podcasts and private messaging forums. None of those are included in the rough patch programme.
The career design programmes range from c£3000 for the group programme to £18,000 for personalised work-life redesign. And require 3 - 12 months time commitment.
Rough patch consulting we work together over one month to um… get you through a rough patch.

Sorry no. I admit that sometimes change happens quickly. But I won’t over-promise and under-deliver. The 4 session package has been tested proven to work. So offer a month-long package.
What if I feel better in one session? Marvellous. Why not finish the programme and feel even better?
Great. I know someone who needs this, but can’t afford it (asking for a friend😏) can you help?
On 23rd Dec, I will choose someone from this lost to gift a rough patch package to. Sign up here.
