Overview of earlier career.

From early on, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, wasn’t “academic” and fell into a number of different industries and roles in Banking, Lifestyle Management and Digital Marketing. I pretty much spent 26 years working out what it was that I really wanted to do with my life and what was going to give me purpose and make me happy.

The trigger for change?

It was January 2017, I was coming out of a long-term relationship, a difficult split and I felt broken, lost, stuck, lacking in direction and purpose.

I made the decision that I didn’t want to feel like this any more and embarked on a journey of self discovery.

First steps

I read a brilliant book, A Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod all around having a morning routine.

Having a morning routine which involved 6 key things that I started at 6am, including journaling and exercise pushed me to take up walking every day, which then led to running, I lost 3 dress sizes, ran a half marathon and my confidence started to soar.

In November of that year, I created my first Vision Board and was running my first workshop with 10 participants 4 months later.

What you learned

That exercise, what you wear every day, how you turn up in life, a good diet, drinking water, spending time talking or with friends and family, and having a Vision Board with all your goals on it to push you towards achieving things. Things that make you happy and give you purpose are all the key things that can make your life better.

What became clear?

What my purpose was - to help others realise their purpose and what makes them happy, driven, excited and have direction using my powerful 5 hour Vision Boarding process backed by Neuroscience.

What did you wasted time on?

Searching for hours for things on google that would make me feel better.

What things did you invest time well in?

Different coaches.  My first experience was before I ran my first workshop, I enlisted the help of a Mindset Coach, the best thing I could have ever done.  I have subsequently worked with 5 other coaches who have all helped me in more ways than one!

If you could do it all over again, what would you change, if anything?

Absolutely nothing!!

What became important that you didn’t think was important in the beginning?

Having goals to work towards – before I found Vision Boards I had never had life goals.

What did you discover about yourself that would have helped if you’d discovered it earlier?

That I could love myself – I spent most of my life not liking the person I saw in the mirror, but that has now all changed!

And anything else that might help others make change?

Come on one of my Vision Board workshops – they are lifechanging!  Get clarity, focus, direction and excited about what is possible.

How it feels on the days you wake up and know you made the right decision?

This is everyday…..gratitude, excited and very happy, even in Covid!
