No Ordinary Annual Career Review (Live Small Group Workshop) (SOLD OUT)

No ordinary Annual Career Review (1).png

Is this workshop for you?

Have you been promising yourself for a while that you’d spend some time thinking about your future career? But you’re always too busy actually working in and on your career to think about the longer term.

You’re not exactly sure where to begin thinking about the future. So you keep putting it off.

Before you can even start thinking about the future, you need to evaluate and assess the present and the past twelve months.

In this workshop, that’s exactly what we do.

You have a personal guide to walk you through a tried and tested career satisfaction evaluation methodology.

Workshop Content

  • We isolate the last 12 months of your career and assess it in a way that will help you see your current career picture very clearly - perhaps for the first time in a while.

  • You will receive a worksheet on the day that will take you through the career review and assessment process. You can either complete this fully during the workshop - or if you prefer to think alone, you can take it away and complete it at your convenience.

  • When you completed the assessment, you’ll have a very clear vision of what is working well and what’s not and why.

  • And THEN, you can begin to think about the future - with your eyes wide open.

  • We end with a Q&A session where each participant gets at least one of their questions answered directly.

This workshop with Lucia Knight, Midlife Career Satisfaction Designer, Career Happiness Researcher and Author of X Change: How to Torch your Work Treadmill guides you through no ordinary annual career review and assessment process.

More about Lucia

Lucia Knight is a midlife career satisfaction designer and researcher. She spent 20 years in the world of corporate headhunting in UK and Australia before giving it all up to embark on a MSc Psychology where her dissertation focus was “Does anyone in big corporations give a hoot about the wisdom of 50+year olds?” She founded and runs a career design business called Midlife Unstuck where she helps professionals mostly in their 40s and 50s who feel stuck to design work that is MUCH more satisfying, fulfilling and fun.

Side notes

  1. Feel free to come along and just watch and listen. Alternatively, take advantage of the Q&A session at the end of the workshop to get the most out of the experience personally.

  2. No need to dress up - or leave the house - or even be on camera! Wear something comfy and bring a cuppa or a glass of your favourite tipple.

  3. Bring your sense of humour - just because we’re talking about something as important as careers at our age doesn’t mean we can’t have the occasional giggle.

Join this workshop

This is a small group event so PLACES ARE LIMITED so that everyone gets the opportunity to contribute personally to the Q&A session.

The session will be recorded (in case something urgent comes up and you can’t make it).
